Jennefer Wilson Photography bio picture

  • I love the great state of Texas!
    Especially the Texas Rangers.
    Photography challenges me...
    to be a better person...
    to acknowledge God's creativity,
and to be more organized (eek!).

    I love a sunny day.
    Especially with a cool breeze,
and a great pair of shades.
    I do what I love...
    and love what I do!

Erin + Josh | A Fort Worth Botanical Garden Engagement

Erin and Josh very well may be the nicest people I’ve ever met. They love Jesus, they love each other, and they love Harry Potter. When Erin contacted me to photograph her wedding, I was so blessed by her kind words and excitement in contacting me…never before has a bride been so genuinely pumped about asking me to shoot her wedding…there is no greater compliment in the world!

I am beyond smitten with these two…their sweet love they share for each other and they way they make each other laugh is such a blessing and very infectious actually!

I can’t wait for their July wedding!! Until then…

Gale Wilson - I love the photographs taken in the fall…..just absolutely amazing! What a beautifully sweet couple! I can actually hear the leaves “crunch” under foot.

Tamesha Graves - I love her freckles and the beautiful colors!!!!

Meagan - These are wonderful. I’ve seen some of these ideas on Pinterest and I love them. You did wonderfully Jen

Lori Stephens - The fall colors in these pictures are beyond words! So amazing Jen! :)

Diana + Leo | A Lofty Spaces Wedding

Diana and Leo leave me without words. Their love for each other and the Lord is beautiful and so evident. Leo lights up as soon as Diana begins to walk in his direction, and Diana gets her shy little smirk when he pulls in close. They have one of those loves that you just can’t help but envy. It is a love for the ages and I am confident in the Lord’s hand in their marriage.

Their wedding day was a no fuss, elegant, laid back affair. With touches of red and white throughout and a mariachi band it was more than memorable and I for one can say that I’ve never been to a reception quite like theirs!

Diana and Leo, thank you to the moon and back for giving me the honor of photographing your beautiful day!

Diana wanted her dress to be very original, so she opted to have it made for her! I love a bride daring enough to break tradition and wear what their heart desires!

The lovely couple opted in favor of a first look, which is always my personal and professional preference. I love first looks for so many reasons, but one of my favorite is the reaction of the groom when he gets so see his bride in private with no fear of who may be watching. Leo’s reaction was incredibly beautiful…He was visibly fighting back tears and smiling from ear to ear, even asking Diana to step back and spin around so he could see all of her dress…I totally cried. Don’t judge me.

Family and friends! Stop by the online gallery and see all of the photos from Diana and Leo’s big day!

McKenzie | A Whimsical Bridal Session

McKenzie is one of those brides you just cant help but stare at. Her golden locks and gorgeous smile are enough to keep you captivated by themselves, but add in her deep jade colored eyes and you’re nothing short of enchanted.

We had such a blast at her bridal shoot on a warm cloudy day in November, and her wedding is going to absolutely blow you away. But until then, here is enough to keep you wanting more of Kenz and her fabulous style and smile!

2011 | Thank You

2011 In Thank You’s

Thank you Lord, for loving me, in spite of me.

Thank you Mom and Dad for supporting me every moment of my life and making me feel like I make you proud.

Thank you Michael, for asking me to have the honor of being your wife!  (That’s right people…it’s my turn to get married!)

Thank you to all of my friends for continually lifting me up in prayer and always filling me up when I’m dry.

Thank you Lord for reminding me that friendships are a gift…a sacred and fragile gift.

Thank you to my clients for trusting me with your amazing moments.

Thank you to my clients for becoming my friends.

Thank you to all of my readers who support me just by reading this old thing! Your views mean the world!

Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord…for teaching me things in ways I wouldn’t have chosen…the fact that you continue to teach me proves that you are moving in my life, even if I don’t know where I’m going. Thank you for showing me that love must be shared every moment, because you don’t know when you wont have another. And thank you Lord for trusting me with more than I can handle, it is a privilege to be forced to lean on you.

Gale Wilson - Well Done! (Tear) Again, these are some “beautiful” people. 1 Peter 3:4. Love, M&D

Genevieve Morrison - These are all so gorgeous!

Raegan | Nash Farm Bridal Session

I could write enough words to go to the moon and back about how much I adore this incredibly beautiful, now married, woman. Raegan has to be one of the most genuine, and compassionate people I have ever been blessed to know. And talk about GORGEOUS…seriously, she has it all.

I’ve been beyond anxious to share this bridal session with you guys for so long! When I saw Raegan in her Vera Wang (only my favorite designer ever) gown…I almost stopped breathing.Lets get real though…when you put a girl who looks good in anything into a Vera gown, obsession is soon to follow.

Raegan and her wonderful mom met me and my friend Lauren at Nash Farms in Grapevine for our shoot…I hope you love them as much as I do!

I love the asymmetry in this gown! Raegan totally rocks it too!

For a crazy windy, abnormally cold day…I can’t imagine anyone else would have rocked it as hard as Raegan did. Get it girl!

Be still my heart! Buttons down the side too?! Sigh…I’m obsessed.

Months after the shoot, I can still say these are some of my favorite bridal portraits to date.

Happy wedded bliss sweet friend!!! I know yesterday was a  beautiful day and I can’t wait to hear and see the evidence of the covenants you and Clayton made!
