Sarah is WONDERFUL!! There is something incredibly magnetic about this girl. She is kind, and she has to be one of the most talented people I know. I am completely amazed by Sarah every time I have spent time with her and our session was no exception!

Sarah, you are so stunning and I am so honored to call you a client and friend!

For the second half of our session, Sarah wore her stunning senior recital gown, and I couldn’t have been more wowed by how gorgeous she is in this dress!

It is hard to believe my baby cousin is graduating high school this year. I seriously didn’t see this coming!

Through the years I have watched Baillie grow up to be one of the most caring and beautiful people I know. She is also super silly, thanks to her dad, which makes her all the more admirable.

When she texted and asked if I’d make time for her senior session, there wasn’t a moment of hesitation before I said yes. Fellow photographers will understand, there is something about shooting family that just puts your art at a whole other level of comfort and flexibility. Baillie was no exception, but if we are being honest, I think she is just used to how weird I am, so nothing I asked remotely shocked her.

I adore this senior session and I LOVE this senior with my whole heart!

Baillie, I am so pumped to see what the Lord has in store for you! He has something huge in mind and I am absolutely pumped to see what His plans are!

Smitten.

This word describes everything about this couple, and this wedding…and my obsession with Christin and Alex.

The way Christins eyes glimmer when she talks about Alex and the way he pulls her close at random moments just to let him know he’s near.

The attention to detail and intentionality left everyone in attendance of this affair completely and utterly smitten.

And the heart and kindness that Christin, Alex and their families treated me throughout their engagement and continue to bless me has left me smitten.

I am so blessed and honored to have been a part of this gorgeous wedding and to have become friends with such beautiful people.

Ok! July seriously cannot be here soon enough!! I cannot wait for Laura and Taylors wedding!! Growing up, I never figured Laura would tie the knot before me but here we are and I am SO pumped for their lives to start together! I’ll tell you a little more about their story when their wedding comes around, but it is more than evident that dating since high school has brought more love and more security to their relationship than you could ever imagine!

Laura and Taylor decided to do a shoot in benefit of The Lauren Scruggs Hope Fund and we had an absolute BLAST out at the beautiful Farmers Branch Rose Garden!

Oh. Em. Gosh.

Talk about above and beyond! On our first meeting over coffee, Laura presented me with the ideas she wanted to execute for her and Richards engagement session. Umm…can I keep you forever? Best client ever potential. For sure.

I am absolutely smitten by these two! They share a quirky love that makes you want to be their friend and go on their dates with them. As the third wheel. Because they’re so in love they probably wouldn’t notice you. And…theyre just so cute you can’t look away. Oh gosh, and Laura! Stunning, stunning, stunning!!!

We met up at the farmers market for some quick produce shopping, some flower browsing, yummy sodas and some mint chocolate chip ice cream (yes please!) And then we headed over to the Bishop Arts District…my favorite.

So blessed by this couple and absolutely cannot wait for their June wedding!!!

“What?! How do you take pictures for that long? Why?!” Oh Dads.

The Taylor’s are such a fun family! Lets get real. They are just a great looking group!! And they love each other enough to poke fun and have a good time..perfect!

We met up for a family shoot on what was, a windy, but pretty fabulous day in Midland (Taylor and Meghan should be jealous!) and we had such a blast! Jake, their oldest is graduating from high school this year and we snuck in a few seniors for him too!

Taylors, the way you love one another and encourage each other is an inspiration. The bonds you share are evident and moving and I count myself extremely blessed to have gotten the chance to photograph your beautiful family!

Meghan is SO fun! There is something genuine about the way she intentionally goes about conversation and the way she cares about those closest to her. She is graduating from college in May and has big plans to be a therapist who specializes in using animals in the healing process. HOW FUN! And SO perfect for her!! We had a blast on her senior session and in true Midland fashion, the wind was INSANE and we got hit by the most crazy dust storm I have ever seen! Needless to say, she is a super star!

I have been itching to post this senior session from the first frame we shot of Taylor. She is the type of girl, you just can’t help but fall in love with, kind to everyone she meets, intentional in her conversation and absolutely hilarious. (Not to mention, stylish! Can I have all of her outfits? Ok thanks!) OH! And did I mention, she is drop dead gorgeous!

Our session spanned a 3 day period. I blame Midland weather and its truly uncanny knack for being completely unpredictable. Taylor is a trooper! We braved Midland wind, which is in a league of its own, rain, dust storm and cold! Needless to say…it was quite the good time! Her mom and sister came along on the sessions too…their dad is blessed with three incredible women!

Taylor, I cannot believe you are a senior! God has HUGE plans in store for you (I hope they include moving you to Dallas )

“The minute I saw him, I thought he was the most handsome man I’d ever seen…and I thought he would never go for a girl like me.”

“Me too. I didn’t think someone as beautiful as Bethany would go for a guy like me….But she did. And I’m so happy!”

Hearing Bethany and Jonathan describe their relationship on their engagement shoot was surreal and almost an inadequate retelling of the love they share. Never in my life have I seen such selfless love, such patience, and such joy. They mutually share these three qualities toward each other with such ease, and you just can’t help but fall in love with them. God had big plans in mind when He crossed their paths and He has even bigger plans now that they share one.

I can’t describe the joy of their wedding day. I can’t begin to paint a picture of the love that surrounded Bethany and Jonathan from their friends and family. But, I can hear the laughter, sweet prayers and “I love you’s” that were shared throughout the day and I cannot wait for you to catch a glimpse of them!

These two know how to throw a party! Their wedding and reception were a huge celebration of a marriage that has been in the making for quite a while! Tayler and Brandon have family and friends who are nothing short of supportive and love them whole heartedly and it was such a blessing to be a part of their love on their big day.
